Snow Fun is No Fun (When You're Unprepared)

This week in 1996, one of the biggest snowstorms in New York City history swept through the region, causing power outages, billions of dollars in damage, and forcing New Yorkers to stay home. Be sure to winterize your home and Emergency Supply Kit by adding such items as extra blankets, warm clothing, and a battery-operated radio. Having extra hot cocoa on hand doesn't hurt, either!
