Think Before You Drink

Pools It’s starting to feel like summer, and OEM reminds New Yorkers to avoid drinking alcohol and caffeinated beverages on hot days. Alcohol and caffeine cause people to use the bathroom more than normal. As temperatures rise, this excess loss of fluids can lead to dehydration. If you feel weak, lightheaded, or notice any cramping in your limbs, you may be suffering from dehydration. Avoid more serious consequences by drinking plenty of fluids, even when you’re not thirsty.
