One year ago, New York City was faced with a storm unlike any other in its recent history. Tragically, 44 New Yorkers lost their lives. The anniversary of Hurricane Sandy reminds us that hurricanes can and do occur here, and how important it is to be prepared. Remember: hurricane season ends November 30.
