Stay Cool New York

The mercury stays high this week, with temperatures predicted to be in the upper 80s according to the National Weather Service. Too much exposure to the sun can lead to dangerous consequences. Symptoms of heat exhaustion include weakness and fatigue, even while body temperature may seem normal. Keep your cool by drinking plenty of water and limiting your time outdoors. Remember to protect children and elderly from excessive sun, as they are the most vulnerable to heat-related illnesses.
