BE AWARE OF THE RIP WHEN YOU GO FOR A DIP


Did you know more people die every year from rip currents than shark attacks, tornadoes, or lightning? This week is National Rip Current Awareness Week, and OEM urges beach-going New Yorkers to learn about the dangers of rip currents. Swim parallel to the shoreline if you encounter a rip current. If in doubt, don't go out!
