Make the City Greener (and More Absorbent)

Celebrate the planet this Thursday, the 40th Earth Day, by planting a tree. Trees not only improve air quality and help slow climate change, they absorb stormwater, which helps to reduce flooding. Get more information about free street trees through the MillionTreesNYC project and help the City expand its urban forest.
