NYC Hurricane Season Ahead

Hurricanes in New York City may be rare, but they can and have happened. Our city is among the most vulnerable to hurricane damage in the U.S. because of its densely populated coastline. August 1 marks NYC's unofficial start of hurricane season as hurricanes are most likely to occur in our area between August and October. Do you have a plan if a hurricane hits? Start by using OEM's Hurricane Zone Finder to find out whether you live in a hurricane evacuation zone.
