Plan A Getaway For Your Pet

For the fourth week of National Preparedness Month, OEM asks New York City's pet owners to consider where they can go if forced to leave home during an emergency.

Pets may not be welcome everywhere and travelling with them requires specialized packing and planning. Use this week to identify animal-friendly hotels/motels in the area. Local veterinarians and grooming facilities may also offer safe shelter for your pet during an emergency.
